Montel was founded in the Netherlands in the early 1980s by Neşat Turfanda. He moved his production facility to Turkey in 1997 in line with the supply of qualified workforce and his desire to return to his country. At the beginning of the 2000s, it expanded its production area in order to increase its production capacity and started to operate in an area of 35,000m². As of 2005, it has developed its production power, product range and quality. It aimed to reach more customers by expanding its market network, especially in Europe and America.
Montel has become a leading furniture brand in the markets it operates in. It owes this success to its strategies focused on trendy designs, quality service, fast and reliable delivery and meeting the demands of its customers to the maximum. These emerging strengths of Montel have become a springboard for Europe. It has enabled it to establish a stable sales market to countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, England and even non-European countries.
Montel aims to deliver the current trend furniture and living room products to a wide audience. This means that Montel takes responsibility for the design of all its products in-house and together with the customer, puts its products to market under its own brand name.
